About PureQR

We believe that creating a simple barcode link between the physical and digital world should be free, permanent, and private.

Why We Built PureQR

In recent years, the online QR code generator industry became dominated by predatory billing practices. Small business owners, café operators, and teachers would search Google for a "free QR code generator," print hundreds of flyers or tabletop stands, only to receive a threatening email 14 days later:

"Your free trial has expired. Upgrade to our Premium Plan for $29.99/month or your printed QR codes will stop redirecting immediately."

These commercial vendors generate dynamic redirect links that route scans through their own private cloud servers. When you stop paying, they replace your restaurant menu or business link with an error screen. We founded PureQR to end this practice once and for all.

How PureQR is Architected for Privacy

PureQR is engineered around a radically transparent technical principle: 100% Client-Side Execution.

✓ No Intermediary Redirects

Your static QR codes encode your raw destination URL directly into the pixels. When users scan the code, their camera connects straight to your website without middleman servers.

✓ Zero Data Logging

Because generation runs inside your browser memory using client-side JavaScript, we never see your WiFi passwords, contact details, or uploaded logos.

Who We Are

PureQR is maintained by a small group of independent software engineers and open-web advocates led by [FOUNDER_NAME_PLACEHOLDER]. We build privacy-focused utility tools supported by non-intrusive, privacy-compliant advertising rather than subscription paywalls or user tracking.
